About The Sensory Research Center

The founders of The Sensory Center™, Dan and Jennifer Hoffiz are committed to helping individuals by promoting healthy sensory integration. In accordance with this commitment, they have established The Sensory Research Center a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to advancing education, research and therapy related to sensory integration disorders.  The Sensory Research Center concentrates its efforts primarily in the following areas:

Research:  We value and support research programs focused on the development of sensory integration theory and its applications. Our research fund has been established for the purpose of fielding studies, presenting the data and publishing results in scientific journals and special interest publications. Studies are designed by members of our advisory board, which is comprised of medical doctors and other highly respected professionals and experts who have distinguished themselves in the research and treatment of autism and other disorders that impact learning ability. To this end, 2% of all proceeds from The Sensory Center are donated toward these research efforts.

Philanthropy:  We have established a “scholarship” fund to provide intervention for individuals who are in need of participating in the Individualized Sensory ProgramSM but whose financial circumstances would otherwise preclude participation. For these individuals, our fund sponsors evaluation and assessment services, as well as enrollment in the intervention program.

Fundraising:  In order to provide financial support for the programs sponsored by The Sensory Research Center, we regularly engage in various fundraising activities. Other means by which we fund these programs are by soliciting private donations and through active pursuance of grant funding.

Please contact us if you or an institution you know would like to fund such research.
