About The Sensory Research Center

The founders of The Sensory Center™, Dan and Jennifer Hoffiz are committed to helping individuals by promoting healthy sensory integration. In accordance with this commitment, Jennifer Hoffiz has established The Sensory Research Center, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to advancing education, research and therapy related to sensory integration disorders.  The Sensory Research Center concentrates its efforts primarily in the following three areas:

Philanthropy and services:  We provide services to children and adults with Sensory processing disorder. In doing so, we have established a “scholarship fund" to provide services to individuals who are in need of participating in our services but whose financial circumstances would otherwise preclude participation. For these individuals, our fund awards either a full scholarship or a partial scholarship to allow the indivdual the ability to receive the services.

Fundraising:  In order to provide financial support to families in need for ISP programs, we regularly participate in various fundraising activities and events. Other means by which we fund these programs are by soliciting private donations and through active pursuance of grant funding.

Research:  We value and support research programs focused on the development of sensory integration theory and its applications. The purpose of our research fund is to field studies, present data and publish results in scientific journals and special interest publications.
