In some cases, this is a one-time intervention; however, people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome often see additional improvements by going through the ISP more than once. For all participants, continued improvement will be visible for up to nine months after the intervention. Rather than targeting symptoms, the ISP addresses the foundational brain processing and integration issues that cause symptoms. By prompting the sensory systems to functioning properly, a foundation is created from which more complex
learning can occur. The sensory functions will continue to strengthen with daily use, thus providing the participant with lifelong rewards.
There are two program options: standard and accelerated. There also are two considerations when choosing the appropriate program: time availability and the age of the participant. The standard program was designed to be convenient for most people's busy schedules. For those of you who have more scheduling flexibility and more time available, the accelerated program provides the opportunity to complete the program more quickly. Both programs yield the same results.
With regard to age, we recommend the standard program for adults and the accelerated program for children. Although either program is appropriate for all ages, we find that following this guideline helps to maximize the effectiveness of the program.

On some cases, improvements are noticed after just a few sessions. 15% of our clients notice improvements during or immediately following their first session. While the nature and extent of improvements vary from person to person, about 95% of our clients say that the ISP has been beneficial for them. Resulting benefits will continue to improve throughout the course of the ISP and for up to nine months after completion.
In order to track our clients' improvements, we document baseline data before and after the individual goes through the ISP. Visit our Assessments page if you are interested in scheduling a complimentary assessment.
Yes. This program can be very beneficial for people who are unable to achieve their fullest potential due to difficulties in concentrating.
No. This program is effective for people of all ages. 30% of our clients are adults. Results may vary according to the severity of each person's symptoms; improvements may seem more dramatic in an individual who is low-functioning compared with someone who has mild symptoms, but this is not a function of age.
Absolutely. In fact, we ask that you accompany your child during the sessions. Your presence provides emotional support and reassurance and will facilitate a smooth and enjoyable experience for your child.
Occasionally, some children are afraid or apprehensive about engaging in a session because it is a new experience and the equipment is probably unlike anything they have seen before. This multisensory experience is actually very pleasant; and we find that children begin to look forward to the sessions, including those who were initially reluctant.
No. The ISP prompts the main sensory systems to learn or relearn subconscious reception, processing and integration. Because the program addresses foundational brain processing and integration issues rather than symptoms, it can actually improve the effectiveness of other interventions or therapies.
Perhaps. This depends on the insurer. Please contact us for details.
